Great Stay with Warm Service!
We had an enjoyable 4-night stay. The helpful staff made our experience memorable, especially during the local parades! The breakfasts were a bit hit-or-miss, but the comfortable beds and excellent location made up for it. Pro tip, try parking outside for the best service!

good gym, beautiful view, convenient parking
The elevator needs an upgrade for comfort!!! The decor throughout the hotel feels outdated, lacking modern aesthetic appeal and vibrancy. Floors and walls need maintenance and touching up. it’s hard to feel at ease in such a neglected environment.

I enjoyed the breathtaking city and mountain views from my standard double room. The staff provided excellent service, helping to hold my bags after checkout.
The gym equipment could use an upgrade.

The staff were very accommodating and the
room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the convenient location near the mall, but the noise from the street could be bothersome at night. Overall, a fine choice for exploring the area.

I stayed at Hotel Carretero for a business trip and really appreciated the attentive staff. Check-in was smooth, and María Helena at the desk was especially welcoming. I requested a quiet room and got a nice one, though the walls were a bit thin, so I could hear neighbors occasionally. The breakfast spread was good, with plenty of fresh fruit. I enjoyed the evening snack they offered, but for dinner, the menu had limited options and the wine selection by the glass wasn't great. I found the location decent, close to downtown, but the best restaurants require a quick taxi ride, which is very affordable. Overall, the hotel feels nice, but it may not fully meet the expectations of a four-star rating due to some minor issues.

The room was cozy and I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with tasty local options. I loved relaxing in the sauna after a long day of exploring, but the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times. Overall, it was a lovely stay for a weekend getaway! 😊

I stayed in the Superior Queen Room and loved its proximity to the old center of Manizales. The staff offered really good service, and the buffet breakfast featured wonderful local dishes. The elevator felt a bit cramped during busy times. A good experience!

Great location but needs work
Had a nice stay for 4 nights. The location is super central. we could walk to both the mall and the historic plaza easily. The staff was friendly and helped out with our bags after checkout. The restaurant had great views but breakfast was hit or miss—mine had shells in the eggs. Just wish the room had been cleaner.
